Rega Research is a British manufacturer of Hi-Fi equipment, founded in 1973 in Essex by Roy Gandy and Tony Relph. The name is made up of the first letters of their surnames: RElph and GAndy.

The company's philosophy is built on one principle: mass absorbs energy, and lost energy is lost music. Hence - minimal weight of structures, maximum rigidity and no unnecessary complications. Rega does not spend money on advertising, directing them to engineering research. Each product is assembled by hand in its own factory in England and undergoes bench tests before shipment. All products are covered by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

The range includes Planar vinyl players, RB tonearms, Fono phono equalizers, Brio and Elicit integrated amplifiers, DACs and speaker systems - all made in the UK. Vinyla features Rega turntables, tonearms and accessories for those who want to hear vinyl the way it was meant to sound.
