Product information
A rather large low-frequency driver in the speaker system has a diameter of 6.5 inches and a cone made of reinforced fiber. The bass driver is equipped with a powerful magnetic system and is mounted on a new basket, the rigid design of which effectively dampens not only the chassis driver's own resonances, but also the entire front panel of the speaker. The woofer is characterized by increased sound output and the speakers are capable of reproducing rich and convincing bass both during music and movie soundtracks.
The tweeter in the Elac Debut Reference DBR62 is housed in a new driver that flattens its diaphragm and improves performance. The driver has a new integrated metal protective mesh that has increased acoustic transparency. The tweeter is equipped with a soft fabric dome with a diameter of 1 inch and operates in an extended frequency range.
Elac Debut Reference DBR62 speakers use the original “Dual Flared Slot Port” phase inverter in the form of a narrow slot at the very bottom of the front panel. This port design allows to reduce the noise level of turbulent flow.
The speaker system is equipped with screw terminals for connection to the amplifier, which provide a reliable and durable connection. Elac Debut Reference DBR62 is characterized by good versatility and is suitable for use with various integrated amplifiers and AV receivers.
