Description
The Elac Debut 2.0 DF62 floor-standing speaker system is designed primarily for those music lovers who prefer powerful bass, but without compromising other frequency ranges. Elac Debut F6.2 is equipped with three 6.5-inch drivers at once, as well as a new 1-inch silk-dome tweeter placed in a precisely matched sound guide. The speaker cabinet is made of MDF and equipped with internal baffles that act as couplers and eliminate wall vibrations at high sound volumes. A massive base with spiked supports provides the speakers with the necessary stability.
Product information
Elac Debut F62 has a three-way configuration. The two lower drivers in the speaker are used for bass, and a separation filter limits their frequencies to 90 Hz. The driver cones are made of reinforced fiber and are lightweight with high rigidity. A ventilated magnetic system prevents the voice coil from overheating even when the speaker is operated for a long time at high power input. These loudspeakers are loaded with a phase inverter, the output channels of which are routed to the rear panel. These channels have widening ends both at the inlet and outlet, which ensures smooth airflow without audible noise.
The upper section of the speaker contains another 6.5-inch driver of the same type, but operating at midrange frequencies, as well as a tweeter. The upper part of the speaker is separated from the lower part by a baffle and has its own phase inverter of the same design as the bass drivers. The separation filter in the speaker is made of selected components, and the input connector block is installed at the bottom of the rear panel, which simplifies cable connection.
The Elac Debut F62 has a very energetic sound with a wide soundstage, where images are focused and precisely spaced in both depth and width. These speakers will be an excellent choice for both a stereo system and a high-end home theater. Elac Debut F6.2 speakers have a balanced sound in a wide frequency range, which will appeal to many music lovers.
