Volumio is an Italian brand from Florence that has taken an unusual path for the hi-fi industry: first, back in 2013, an open-source media player appeared. This software was so popular with the community that it became the basis of the successful Volumio platform, and the company began to develop OEM solutions for other well-known brands - Pro-Ject, miniDSP, Kii Audio. Only later, when the software had already proven its quality, did its own hardware appear.

Today, Volumio is a full-fledged hi-fi ecosystem that combines audiophile streaming, flexible software and high-quality, hand-built hardware in Italy. The heart of each device is the proprietary Volumio 3 platform, which supports multi-room playback, smart music search, customization through plugins and compatibility with leading streaming services: TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify Connect.
