The Volumio Integro proves that a complete hi-fi system doesn’t have to consist of three separate boxes. The Integro is an integrated network amplifier that combines a Volumio OS-based network streamer and a direct digital Dual mono Class D amplifier with 50W per channel into 8 ohms, complemented by a separate headphone amplifier on the front panel.
The output power is 2x50W RMS into 8 ohms and 2x70W RMS into 4 ohms, and is provided by two Infineon MA12070P amplifiers in a dual-mono configuration (PBTL mode). Volumio engineers spent several months fine-tuning the amplifier's output filter — with polypropylene WIMA capacitors and high-current saturation chokes — specifically to minimize crosstalk between channels.
The headphone amplifier is worth mentioning separately: instead of taking the signal from the output stage, the Integro has a dedicated Class AB amplifier based on the TPA6120A2 module from Texas Instruments.
On the back panel there is a USB Type-A for external storage, an Ethernet port, a microSD slot, an HDMI output for the OSD, a USB Type-C for updates, two digital inputs (coaxial and optical), a pair of analog RCA inputs and a subwoofer output. Integro connects to the network via Gigabit Ethernet and built-in Wi-Fi module of the IEEE 802.11ac standard. The device supports streaming from your favorite music services — Spotify, TIDAL and Qobuz — and includes all Volumio premium features without an additional subscription.
Given its size, Integro takes up minimal space and will easily fit into almost any interior. It is a true plug & play solution: connect the speakers — and the system is ready to play.
