The Vasari Gold body is machined from a solid block of 7000 series aluminum alloy, the same material used in the aerospace industry. This is not a decorative solution: the high rigidity and internal damping of the material suppress parasitic resonances that inevitably color the sound in conventional plastic-bodied cartridges. The result is a cleaner signal transfer from the groove to the phonostage, without overtones or artifacts.
The Vasari Gold aluminum cantilever is mounted directly into the metal body - without intermediate connections and plastic adapters. This technical solution significantly increases the structural rigidity of the entire assembly and improves tracking: the stylus more accurately follows the groove geometry even in difficult recording sections, with dense groups-parts or sharp dynamic changes.
The 7.5×15.5 μm diamond ellipse cut is a classic choice for serious analog work. Compared to a spherical grind, the ellipse contacts the groove at two points simultaneously, which means more accurate transmission of high frequencies, better channel resolution and less wear on the vinyl with a correctly set contact force of 2.0 g. Magnet Alnico provides a soft and musical sound of midrange frequencies - a characteristic that is appreciated in this type of magnetic systems.
Vasari Gold is a classic MM cartridge with an output level of 4.0 mV and a load of 47 kOhm. It is compatible with the vast majority of phono equalizers - both built into amplifiers and external entry-level and mid-level ones. The mounting step size of 9 mm corresponds to the standard, installation will take a few minutes.
