The Catenary Curved Plinth is made of Italian walnut solid wood or black lacquered MDF, handcrafted by the best Italian master woodworkers who carefully work each individual piece of selected wood to form the core of the turntable.
The wooden plinth is combined with a 20mm MDF plinth and reinforced with a 3mm stainless steel plate to ensure incredible rigidity.
The result is sound quality that exceeds all expectations.
We use environmentally friendly protective varnishes on all our walnut turntables.
The electronics that control the power of the 12V synchronous motor and the special materials chosen for the Pianosa are derived directly from the flagship models. This ensures zero vibration of the device and improved torque for maximum dynamics and fine details.
Pianosa features our high precision bearing and spindle design with the lowest joint tolerance available.
The straightened spindle is made of hardened steel and precisely fits the chrome-plated ball bearing, achieving perfect rotational consistency with low noise.
