Description
Professional performance turntable with MM cartridge AT-XP3, S-shaped tonearm, direct drive, aluminum platter, electronic speed control 33; 45 rpm, dimensions 452x159x352 mm, weight 10 kg.
The Audio-Technica AT-LP140XP professional-grade turntable is designed for use by DJs during performances. The turntable has a robust design and is equipped with a direct drive, which allows you to brake the record by hand with its rapid subsequent release to the nominal speed. The device has a massive chassis damping, which reliably protects it from external vibrations. Such a chassis is essential to eliminate the risk of low frequency acoustic feedback that can occur during live performances.
The Audio-Technica AT-LP140XP is equipped with a high starting torque motor, which also ensures that the disc spins up to the required speed almost instantly. This model has three speeds of rotation of the disk 33, 45 and 78 rpm, so it is suitable for playing records of any type. To obtain a constant rotation speed, the player uses quartz stabilization of the frequency of the electrical signal supplied to the engine.
The Audio-Technica AT-LP140XP is equipped with the typical professional-grade record reverse button and variable speed control. Both of these features are relatively easy to implement on direct drive models, which has made this class of turntable popular among DJs. For visual control of the correct speed setting, the Audio-Technica AT-LP140XP has a stroboscope.
The turntable is equipped with a die-cast aluminum platter with a felt mat. Due to its considerable mass, the disc has enough inertia to smoothly rotate the record. The player is equipped with an S-shaped tonearm with a damped microlift and the possibility of height adjustment. The tonearm has a branded MM pickup with a conical needle and anti-skating is provided. The player is equipped with gold-plated RCA-jacks for connecting to an external phono stage. The player comes with a dust cover and a removable backlight for easy use in low light conditions.
