Description
Ideal for small hi-fi or home theater systems, the Vincent SV-200 delivers 25 watts per channel at 8 ohms and 35 watts per channel at 4 ohms. This means that it has enough power to fill a small to medium sized room with great sound when used with sensitive speakers.
Product information
The SV-200 is a perfect fit for today's requirements, thanks to its dimensions that are half the width of standard stereo components. This size gives you many placement options, freeing up valuable shelf or rack space for other devices.
Despite its small size, the amplifier's design has minimal compromises. Just like the SV-700, the SV-200 utilizes the SRPP (Shunt Regulated Push-Pull) principle. This ensures high dynamics and low noise level. The preamplifier stage is powered by 6N1 tubes, giving the sound a “warm” coloration, and the output is powered by Toshiba FET transistors.
A toroidal transformer provides sufficient power in the power supply. To maintain a constant signal, Epcos capacitors with a total capacity of 13600 µF are used for buffering. The final amplification is provided by four Toshiba transistors operating in class AB.
To connect different sources, SV-200 has two analog inputs and two digital inputs (1 optical, 1 coaxial). Rec and Pre Out outputs are available for connecting a recording device, power amplifier or active subwoofer.
To comply with modern environmental standards, the Vincent SV-228 has a function of automatic shutdown in the absence of a signal (controlled by a switch on the rear panel).
