Product information
The Rotel RA-1592MKII class AB integrated amplifier continues the evolutionary line of its predecessor. The updated model has an improved circuit topology with optimized signal paths. The changes also affected critical elements of the power supply. As a result, according to Rotel, 28 elements were replaced. As a result, it was possible to increase the speed of transient processes and obtain excellent sound dynamics. The model uses the company's Balanced Design Concept, which involves the use of carefully thought-out circuitry and components that were selected through numerous test hearings.
The Rotel RA-1592MKII power supply unit is equipped with a large proprietary toroidal transformer and a set of foil capacitors ordered with perforated covers. The amplifier has a power of 200 W per channel at 8 ohms and 350 W at a four-ohm load.
Instead of the AKM DAC, as in the previous model, the Rotel RA-1592MKII uses a Texas Instruments DAC that supports PCM formats up to 32 bit/384 kHz and MQA when using an asynchronous USB input. There is also a Bluetooth module on board with support for aptX and AAC audio codecs. "Integral" received the Roon Tested certificate and can work with Roon software.
On the back panel of the Rotel RA-1592MKII there is a Pre Out output, a set of line inputs (including a balanced XLR) and an MM phono equalizer input. Two subwoofers can be connected via the corresponding RCA connectors. There is a set of digital S/PDIF inputs (three each of coaxial and optical), an asynchronous USB port and an Ethernet interface for connecting to a local network, which makes it possible to control the amplifier through a browser. There is an RS-232 interface, an IR port and a pair of trigger outputs. Four pairs of screw terminals are used to connect the speaker, with the help of which you can easily provide a two-wire connection. On the front panel of the case there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB port for connecting Apple devices.
The amplifier is assembled in a metal case and has a two-line, easy-to-read display mounted in the center of the front panel. To control the Rotel RA-1592MKII, a standard remote control is used.
