The RPM 5 Carbon uses a radical concept with many innovations derived from its big brother, the RPM 9 Carbon: a low-resonance chassis holds a new inverted ceramic ball disc bearing for further noise reduction. The acoustically inert plate is made of acrylic. The boat's 15V AC motor is smoothly driven by a high-precision AC generator with a DC power supply for added speed stability. Evo's stylish 9" carbon fiber tonearm fits any high quality MM or MC cartridge. Damped TPE counterweight eliminates unwanted resonances.
