Object-oriented audio mixes in 3D and lets you play any sound through any speaker in your system, tracking actions, localizing effects, and moving them around you. Dolby Surround and DTS Neural:X complement the original 3D audio playback. These technologies find clues to the localization of objects in old stereo or multi-channel soundtracks and additionally mix them to create a third dimension - up and down.

When playing any Dolby format, enabling the Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer provides a more immersive experience by creating the virtual surround and height effect of traditional speaker sets, without the need for additional rear or ceiling acoustics.
