Product information
The NAD C368 integrated amplifier is built using the MDC (Modular Design Construction) modular principle, so its functionality can be easily expanded by installing additional units. In particular, the device can be equipped with a BluOS streamer module or HDMI inputs. However, even in its basic configuration, this unit is an excellent choice for creating a modern Hi-Fi system with the ability to listen to music from a wide variety of sources.
The amplifier is built using pulse circuitry, which NAD engineers have been working on improving for a long time. The NAD C368 power supply is switching mode, and with its small size and weight, it provides significant energy for stable operation of the amplifier even under peak loads. The output stages of the device are built on Hypex UcD modules, which provide significant power with a low level of distortion. The device can operate on two pairs of speakers, but using a special switch it can be switched to bridge mode, in which case its output power will further increase.
NAD C368 has two line and one phono inputs, designed to work with the MM pickup of a vinyl player. There are also two optical and two coaxial inputs, which allows you to connect various digital sources to the amplifier - from TV to media streamers. For convenient wireless connection with various mobile devices, the NAD C368 features a Bluetooth receiver with support for the aptX codec. To control the operation of the amplifier, the front panel has a large backlit LCD display, as well as a navigation “wheel”. Through the menu system displayed on the display, you can access various settings of the device, including adjusting the tone, switching filters and even updating the firmware. The latter is implemented by connecting a USB flash drive with new firmware to the service jack on the rear panel of the NAD C368. To use external control systems with an amplifier, you can use the RS232 system connector or the IR command and 12-volt trigger input and output jacks.
