In 1970, the JBL brand released the iconic L100 speaker system. For many years, the L100 became the best-selling product in JBL's history.
For 2018, JBL is proud to introduce the L100 Classic, a modern take on a time-tested legend. The Classic features vintage styling, including retro design and the iconic Quadrex foam grille, as well as newly developed acoustic technology and designs for premium performance.
All new drivers, crossover network and advanced conversion technology take the performance attributes that owners of the original L100 loved - exceptional dynamic range, crystal-clear lightweight output and powerful punchy bass - and elevate them to high audio standards in the 21st century.
The 1" titanium dome tweeter is coupled to an acoustic lens waveguide for optimal integration with the 5" pure cellulose midrange driver directly underneath. Powerful bass is provided by a 12-inch cast-frame woofer with a white pure cellulose cone housed in an acoustic bass reflex enclosure tuned with a single front-mounted tube.
High and mid frequency attenuators located on the front wall of the speaker cabinet retain the classic features of these iconic, legendary speakers.
