In 2018, JBL is proud to present the L100 Classic, a modern take on a proven legend. The Classic model is crafted in a vintage style, incorporating a retro design and iconic Quadrex foam grills, as well as newly developed acoustic technology and construction for elite performance.
The all-new drivers, crossover network and advanced conversion technology take the performance attributes that owners of the original L100 loved – exceptional dynamic range, crystal-clear smooth output and punchy bass – and elevate them to high standards of sound for the 21st century.
The 1-inch titanium dome tweeter is connected to an acoustic lens waveguide for optimal integration with the 5-inch pure cellulose diffuser tweeter directly below. Powerful bass is provided by a 12-inch woofer with a cast frame, white pure cellulose diffuser, housed in a phased acoustic inverter enclosure configured with a front-mounted single tube.
Attenuators for adjusting the level of high and medium frequencies, located on the front wall of the speaker system housing, preserve the classic features of these legends of cult speakers.
