Description
The Elektron Digitakt II is designed specifically for musicians who want more control and flexibility in their music creation. This updated version has significantly increased the built-in memory capacity to 20 GB, allowing you to use larger sample libraries and record longer sessions.
Product information
The new Digitakt 2 has enough innovations to be called the second version of the legendary Digitakt. The most important update is the availability of 16 audio tracks, instead of 8, as in the original. These tracks and MIDI tracks can be freely assigned to an internal sampler or external MIDI. Each audio track in the new version plays stereo or mono samples, which allows you to create a variety of combinations - from 16 stereo audio tracks to 16 pure MIDI tracks. Another important update is the increase in the maximum number of steps in one pattern to 128, which expands the possibilities for creating rhythms.
Expanded sequencing capabilities with 128 steps per sequence and an increased number of tracks from 8 to 16 provide sophisticated layering and structuring capabilities. The addition of innovative tools such as the Stretch machine, which distorts and manipulates samples in unique ways, and the Euclidean sequencer for creating complex rhythmic patterns, ensures that the Elektron Digitakt II is a powerful sampling, sequencing, and composing tool.
Advanced memory and sequencing capabilities
The Elektron Digitakt 2 features a massive 20GB of memory, a significant increase from the 1GB of its predecessor. This increase not only allows you to store a large array of samples and projects, but also supports an advanced 128-step sequencer. This upgrade allows for more complex and specific compositions, giving musicians the ability to create unique musical works without the limitations of limited memory or sequencer capabilities.
Advanced sound processing capabilities
With five powerful filters per track, including two new types (comb and multi-mode), Elektron Digitakt 2 offers unprecedented audio processing capabilities. These filters, combined with new sound manipulation tools such as the Stretch machine, allow users to creatively alter and deform samples. Whether you want to subtly enhance the texture or radically change the sound, this machine provides the tools to realize your vision.
Create unique rhythmic sequences
The integration of a Euclidean sequencer into the Elektron Digitakt 2 takes rhythmic programming to a new level. This feature allows you to automatically generate complex patterns, which can be especially useful for creating polyrhythms and textures that develop over time. This tool is ideal for producers who want to experiment with rhythmic structures without having to manually program each step.
Durable design with future upgrades
Anticipating the future needs of musicians, Elektron has designed the Digitakt 2 with the future in mind, with ongoing updates to extend its capabilities and lifespan. This approach ensures that the device remains relevant and in line with the latest technology and trends in music production, providing a long-term investment for serious musicians and producers.
