A real analog kick
Feel the depth of the rumble of the kick drums, the growl of the snare drum, the roar of the toms and the airy shimmer of the hi-hats. Choose from several unique synth models (called machines) for a variety of percussive sounds. Adjust the sound shaping parameters to make these models your own and experience the refined character of an analog roll, kick or cowbell. The dual VCO synthesizer adds a magical punchy bass level to your compositions. Adjust to your liking and hack.

Pattern and form
What sets the Analog Rytm MKII apart is the addition of a layer of digital samples. Sampling is very simple. Select the source - inputs, any of the internal tracks or the main outputs - finish the recording, trim the sample and you're done. Quickly set height, direction, looping or one-shot behavior, and bitrate. Sample and resample. Shape it within your imagination.

More than a drum machine
Once you've captured and edited your samples (or selected pre-recorded ones), keep tweaking the analog and digital layers to make your sounds as smooth, raw, or fantastical as you like.

Spice up this combo with some analog filtering and overdrive on each track for stunning results. To finish, go the route of analog distortion and compressor circuits, adding even more bells and whistles with digital reverb and delay effects. Add movement to your sound with an LFO with multiple waveforms and its large number of destinations.

Performance and connectivity
When your sounds are ready, unleash your rhythms with the velocity-sensitive pads. Or play your sounds and samples chromatically. The pads can also be used to trigger up to 12 performance macros (multiple parameter changes), making good use of their pressure sensitivity. Or use the Quick Performance knob for instant access to any of your macros. Another mode allows you to use the pads for more radical on/off scene changes.

Enjoy one-handed control to change the pattern or sound. The ultra-clear OLED display turns performances in the dark into a pleasure. Individual audio outputs for each voice ensure that this drum machine will fit just as snugly into a vintage analog studio recording session as it will into a modern digital one. Class compliance gives you the freedom to connect and makes USB MIDI and audio more fluid than ever before.

Great sequence
A full-featured step-by-step sequencer lets you control both structure and sound. Press a step and adjust any parameter change for a super fast and detailed sequence - parameter lock.

Record in real time every turn you make, or build your composition one tonal nuance at a time. Add some controlled randomness and logic with friendly trigonometry conventions. Create templates from your sequence, then build them into a full-scale composition using the easy-to-use song editor.
