Product information
The Denon PMA-A110 integrated amplifier, released for the 110th anniversary of this company, has a full range of the most modern technologies and proprietary design solutions. The amplifier uses output stages based on high-current field-effect transistors, which ensure stable operation of the Denon PMA-A110 even with acoustics with complex impedance characteristics. The amplifier's power supply contains two powerful low-noise transformers, and the metal case with a thick front panel is mounted on a massive anti-resonance chassis. The weight of the device is 25 kg.
The amplifier is equipped with a block of electronic regulators that operate accurately and silently, but do not introduce additional distortion into the signal. A special microprocessor circuit provides stable control of volume, stereo balance and timbre (bass and treble), with natural tactile sensations when using the controls. The device's circuit uses selected components, and the digital part is built on four PCM1795 DACs - two in each channel, connected in parallel.
Denon PMA-A110 is equipped with a USB input for connecting a PC with the ability to play High Resolution audio in PCM formats up to 32 bit / 384 kHz and DSD 11.2 MHz. To reduce the jitter level, the DAC circuit uses precision master oscillators, separate for two frequency grids of 44.1 and 48 kHz. In general, this DAC is not inferior in its characteristics to individual high-end devices. The digital part of the Denon PMA-A110 is built on the latest generation Ultra AL32 proprietary processor. It delivers exceptionally clear and detailed amplifier sound when playing any digital content. For digital optical and coaxial inputs, this model introduces a very interesting additional function of automatically turning on the amplifier when a signal appears on them. This model also provides a Pure Analog mode, when activated, all of its digital circuits are disabled.
Another very valuable addition to the Denon PMA-A110 is the built-in MM/MC phono stage, providing sound quality comparable to expensive standalone units.
