The Denon PMA-600NE integrated amplifier is designed to work with a wide variety of signal sources and can be an excellent basis for a modern stereo system. The device is made in a metal case with a thick aluminum panel, in the center of which there is a large volume control knob. The slightly smaller input selector features a convenient light indication of the selected source. The Denon PMA-600NE is also equipped with tone controls for low and high frequencies and stereo balance, as well as a button for direct signal input, bypassing the auxiliary circuits. Finally, the Denon PMA-600NE is equipped with a headphone output.
The Denon PMA-600NE amplifier uses high-current output field-effect transistors and the device develops up to 70 W of power per channel. The proprietary dynamic power technology and AHC transistors used in the circuit provide significant output current and stable operation of the amplifier even with a complex load. The Denon PMA-600NE power supply contains a transformer with separate windings to power various circuits of the device. Combined with the multi-signal separation design within the SLDC amplifier, this eliminates mutual interference between circuits and reduces distortion. The amplifier circuit uses selected audiophile grade components.
The Denon PMA-600NE features a built-in 24-bit/192 kHz DAC with coaxial and two optical inputs. In combination with four line inputs, this allows you to connect a large number of different signal sources to the device. However, the capabilities of the device do not end there. There is also an input for the MM pickup of a turntable, and Bluetooth. In addition, the amplifier has an output for a recording device and a connector for connecting a subwoofer.
If desired, the entire digital part of the Denon PMA-600NE can be turned off, and the amplifier's control processor can also be put into standby mode. This will further reduce interference on the analog circuitry of the device and make the sound of the highest quality possible.
