Description
Definitive Technology Demand D7 high-performance bookshelf systems deliver rich, room-filling sound in a modern, sleek design. The front panel of the acoustics is made of aluminum, and the MDF body is painted with five layers of black glossy varnish, polished to an almost mirror-like state. The speakers are covered with a grill made of black acoustically transparent fabric, which is attached with magnets. The model has an inch tweeter with an aluminum dome and a waveguide (the company calls it 20/20 Wave Alignment Lens), slightly shifted relative to the center of the speaker. This solution was used to better display stereo sound by eliminating symmetrical diffraction of waves from the corners of the front panel. The mid/bass driver, made using BDSS (Balanced Double Surround System) technology, has more powerful bass compared to similarly sized competitors.
