The DALI Rubicon Vokal center channel speaker has a sufficiently rich and dynamic sound to work in one system with the older Rubicon 8 series acoustics, and at the same time has a fairly compact size. This combination of characteristics became possible thanks to the precise design of the speaker housing, as well as the use of efficient emitters in it and optimization of the crossover filter circuit. The exterior finish of the DALI Rubicon Vokal can be made of natural wood, as well as black or white piano lacquer.

The DALI Rubicon Vokal speaker is equipped with a pair of 6.5-inch woofers, the diffusers of which are made of wood pulp - a material that the company experts consider one of the most musical. The design of the speakers uses patented SMC (soft magnetic compound) technology, which is a further development of the proven Linear Drive System, which was used in the Epicon series acoustics. The magnetic system made using SMC has a high field energy generated in the voice coil area while maintaining its uniformity. This increases the linearity of movement of the speaker cone, while simultaneously allowing it to move with a large amplitude, that is, it reduces sound distortion as its pressure and impact increase. The bass speakers are loaded onto a bass reflex, the output hole of which is located on the rear panel.

Between the woofers there is a proprietary hybrid HF module consisting of a dome tweeter and a ribbon supertweeter. The HF driver features a ferrite magnet, a 29mm soft fabric dome, and a lightweight voice coil that allows the speaker to accurately track the fastest signal changes. The super tweeter has a ribbon membrane measuring 17 x 45 mm and operates in the frequency range up to 34 kHz. The crossover filter between the tweeters is set to 14 kHz, and the overall speaker has a 2.5-way configuration. To connect to the amplifier, the speaker uses two pairs of gold-plated screw terminals, which implies the possibility of a two-cable connection.
