Rubicon 2 Walnut

The DALI Rubicon 2 bookshelf speaker system is designed for high-quality sound in small rooms where the use of large floor-standing speakers would be impractical. Unlike other models in this series, Rubicon 2 is equipped with a single tweeter - a tweeter with a 29 mm fabric dome. The lightweight tweeter voice coil is placed in the field of a powerful ferrite magnet, which ensures high sensitivity and accurate transmission of the smallest sound details.

The bass driver in the DALI Rubicon 2 has a diameter of 165 mm, its diffuser is made of pressed wood-paper pulp and it has high rigidity with low weight. The diffuser is mounted on a wide elastic suspension, which ensures its movement with a large amplitude and dampens parasitic resonances. The driver design guarantees minimal loss of the useful signal with complete conversion of its energy into sound. The woofer is loaded onto a bass reflex, the output hole of which is located on the rear panel. The Rubicon 2's crossover filter is set to 3100 Hz, which provides smooth response in the vocal range, allowing the speaker to accurately reproduce vocals and acoustic recordings. A pair of gold-plated screw terminals are provided for connection to the amplifier.

The DALI Rubicon 2 body is made of fiberboard of considerable thickness, complemented by internal ties and has high-quality internal damping. For mechanical decoupling from the surface on which the speakers will be installed, they are equipped with self-adhesive rubber supports. However, much better results in terms of bass depth and focus, as well as overall sound detail, can be obtained when they are mounted on specialized stands with support spikes on the top panel.

The speakers have a stable impedance and are compatible with most models of stereo amplifiers and AV receivers. DALI Rubicon 2 are great for playing music of various genres, and sound rich and dynamic.
