Chord has reimagined the classic, time-tested analog interconnect cable from its most popular Signature line. The new Chord SignatureX Tuned ARAY features improved materials, construction, and performance.
The new SignatureX is a cutting-edge high-performance analogue interconnect that utilises Chord’s latest cable technology. In addition, it draws on nearly 40 years of experience in the UK cable design and manufacturing industry.
Chord has upgraded the new SignatureX Tuned with Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, having previously featured in the award-winning SignatureXL speaker and power cables. The upgraded insulation complements the high-performance shielding architecture and patented Tuned conductor geometry technology inherited from the previous generation model.
SignatureX Tuned features ultra-lightweight RCA connectors (with precision Teflon ferrules); high-performance XLR and DIN connectors are also available. The contact pads/pins are coated with the newly released ChorAlloy coating technology, and a special zero-compression strain relief system skillfully prevents any impedance changes at the cable connection points. High-quality multi-strand silver-plated OFC conductors with cross-linked polyethylene insulation, complemented by a high-density silver-plated braid and foil combination for high-frequency shielding.
