AT-LP5x

The Audio-Technica AT-LP5x turntable has a classic design that reflects the company's over 50 years of experience in the hi-fi industry. At the same time, the player uses new technologies and selected materials to make it sound modern and work reliably. The turntable chassis with special metal inserts has good resistance to external vibrations and resonances, which provides a wide dynamic range with a high degree of sound detail.

The Audio-Technica AT-LP5x features a massive die-cast aluminum platter driven directly by a powerful, quiet motor. Available in 33.1/3, 45 or 78 RPM disc speeds, this model is completely versatile for listening to any type of record. The platter has a 5 mm thick rubber damping mat, which provides additional protection for the record and cartridge from vibrations.

The Audio-Technica AT-LP5x features a J-shaped tonearm with adjustable downforce and anti-skating. Similar tonearms were installed on the turntables of this company in the 60s and 70s, but now its design has been significantly improved to further improve the sound quality. The player has a fully manual control, which has a positive impact on the quality of its sound due to the exclusion of additional structural elements. The Audio-Technica AT-LP5x tonearm is equipped with the proprietary AT-HS6 shell and the AT-VM95E MM cartridge.

The player is equipped with a built-in high-end MM/MC phono stage, which greatly expands the possibilities for selecting pickups for it. Also on the Audio-Technica AT-LP5x feature list is a USB output for connecting to a PC. With it, you can digitize music recordings on records for their subsequent transfer, for example, to the memory of a portable player or car audio system.
