The Acoustic Solid Machine Small R is the entry-level turntable for the Machine line and is a simplified version of the Acoustic Solid Machine model. Despite this, no compromises have been made in key areas, including the use of their own high-precision 'zero-tolerance' bearing and a heavy-duty 50mm aluminum disc to smooth out residual engine noise.
No compromises have been made on build quality either. After all, this is a German product. Instead of the split outrigger-type legs used on its big brother, the Machine Small R uses three independently adjustable spikes. Felt-lined spike supports are included so you can use the player on any surface. The Acoustic Solid Machine Small R can be upgraded to add the features of higher-end models.
Don't underestimate this player, it will reproduce the bass from your recordings with amazing depth and clarity. Midrange clarity, rhythmic integrity and overall musicality are excellent, all key to enjoying high-quality analogue playback.
