Opera Loudspeakers is an Italian loudspeaker manufacturer founded in 1989 by Giovanni Nasta in Treviso, northern Italy. The company operates under the same roof as Unison Research, and the two brands share a common production base, the values of craftsmanship and the belief that quality sound and beautiful design are not mutually exclusive.

With the first model, the Caruso, Opera formulated a principle that it remains true to this day: acoustics should be pleasant to the ear, beautiful to the eye and honest in terms of quality and price. These words still appear on the company's website - not as a slogan, but as a commitment.

Today, Opera produces two lines. Classica is a series aimed at a wide audience of audiophiles: the Mezza and Prima V2 bookshelf monitors, the Quinta V2 and Grand Mezza floor-standing monitors. Callas is a top-of-the-line line named after Maria Callas: the bookshelf Callas, the floor-standing Callas Diva and the flagship Grand Callas. Both series share a common philosophy: the speakers are custom-made in collaboration with Scanspeak and SEAS, the crossovers are hand-assembled from Mundorf components, the cabinets are covered with natural wood veneer or leather.

Opera is an acoustic that doesn't need to be justified. It just plays.
