MISSIO is an American alternative electronic duo from Austin, Texas, blending electronic music, alternative pop, indie rock, and dark pop. The project was founded by musician Matthew Brue in 2014, later becoming a duo with the addition of David Butler.

MISSIO gained wider recognition with the single “Middle Fingers”, which became one of the duo’s most recognizable tracks. Their debut full-length album, The Darker the Weather The Better, was released in 2017 and established the project’s distinctive sound.
