Final Audio is a Japanese manufacturer of headphones and in-ear monitors headquartered in Kawasaki. The brand's roots go back to 1974, when Kanenori Takai founded Final Audio Research with the ambition to create audio equipment that sounds absolutely honest. In 2007, the company began a new chapter in the form of S'NEXT Co., and the first headphones under the Final brand were released in 2009.

Since then, Final has been producing the entire development cycle in-house - from driver development to final assembly. This gives the company complete control over the acoustic result and allows it to avoid the compromises that are inevitable in OEM chains. Each model undergoes dozens of hours of live listening: Final focuses on the real perception of music, not just on frequency response graphs.

The brand's philosophy is formulated simply: "a comprehensive search for what is fundamentally right." Hence the special attention to the materials of the membranes, the geometry of the housings, the balance between the frequency ranges and the durability of the construction. Final designs its products so that they do not age - like a mechanical watch, passed down from generation to generation.

The line covers the entire range: from the affordable IEMs of the E series for beginners - to the flagship A8000 with a beryllium membrane and the reference over-ear D8000 with planar magnetic drivers and the author's Air Film Damping system. There are also wireless models of the ZE and UX series with 8K SOUND technology and LDAC support.
