A-S301 ll Black
Description
The Yamaha A-S301 II is an amplifier in which every design decision is subordinated to one goal: to reproduce music as it is. No embellishment, no embellishment - just reproduction. This is what Yamaha calls the Natural Sound concept, and it is what defines the sound of the A-S301 II from the first bar to the last.
The amplifier is based on the proprietary ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology) architecture, which combines two key principles. I/O Direct Symmetrical Design places the input and output stages symmetrically relative to the central axis of the board — the signal paths of the left and right channels are identical in length and geometry, which minimizes phase and amplitude discrepancies between the channels. ART Base — a massive anti-resonant chassis base — absorbs mechanical vibrations, preventing them from entering the signal path. Added to this are a custom power transformer, 6,800 μF block capacitors, and extruded aluminum radiators — components selected and tested not for price, but for sound properties.
Pure Direct mode reduces the signal path to a minimum by turning off the buffer stage, tone controls, balance, and volume — leaving the shortest path from the source to the speakers. For monitoring, analytical listening, this is the optimal choice. When the sound needs to be adjusted to the room conditions or low volume level, the smooth Loudness control comes into play: it compensates for the natural "failure" of low and high frequencies during quiet playback, while maintaining the completeness of the tonal balance.
The A-S301 II goes beyond a purely analog device: the Toslink optical input accepts a signal from a TV, the coaxial digital - from a Blu-ray player or other source. The built-in DAC processes the digital stream without unnecessary links. The MM phono input allows you to connect a vinyl player directly. Five stereo RCA inputs and two independent outputs for acoustics (A, B or A+B simultaneously) allow you to assemble a full-fledged two-room system or simply have a choice between different pairs of speakers. The subwoofer output expands the possibilities for those who want more bass.
An aluminum front panel with massive volume and source selection knobs, clear LED active input indicators, a rotary encoder instead of a push-button switch, support for the YBA-11 Bluetooth adapter via a digital coaxial output — the A-S301 II does not skimp on the details that shape the daily use experience.
