A minimalist cylinder without a screen on the front panel hides a full-fledged Hi-Res player with a power of 100 W, support for almost all streaming platforms and intelligent room correction. At the heart of the Sound Lite is a two-way system that combines a 4-inch long-throw woofer and two 1-inch silk dome tweeters. Each section has a separate amplifier channel: 50 W per woofer and 25 W per tweeter. The crossover frequency is 2.4 kHz, which provides a clear transition between registers without artifacts. The frequency range of the system covers 50 Hz - 20 kHz. The polycarbonate and fiberglass case with a fabric coating not only looks neat, but also effectively dampens unwanted resonances.
Sound Lite reproduces audio with a resolution of up to 24 bit / 192 kHz - an indicator that goes beyond what most smart speakers in this class offer. Gapless playback is supported, so the gap seconds between tracks disappear along with the silence between them.
Wi-Fi 6E provides stable wireless connection even in congested networks. For those who do not trust wireless, there is a 100 Mbps Ethernet port. Bluetooth 5.3 allows you to connect the source directly. The 3.5 mm analog input leaves room for any external device. Streaming compatibility covers Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Google Cast, Alexa Cast, DLNA, Roon and LMS - almost the entire range of current platforms.
The built-in AI RoomFit room correction system analyzes the acoustics of a specific space and automatically adjusts the frequency response to the placement conditions. Additionally, 24 EQ presets, a 10-band graphic equalizer and parametric EQ are available for fine manual tuning. Control - via the WiiM Home application or buttons on the case; voice control is supported via Alexa and Google Assistant.
Two Sound Lite can be connected in a wireless stereo pair with full channel distribution. Multi-room grouping within the WiiM ecosystem is supported. Optionally, Sound Lite can be integrated into a home theater system as a rear or center speaker in a 5.1 configuration with compatible WiiM devices.
