The Triangle ELARA LN01A model is an active bookshelf speaker from the company's Active Series wireless speaker series, which also includes the LN05A floorstanding speaker.
A 25 mm silk dome tweeter is used to transmit high frequencies, and a 130 mm midrange/bass driver equipped with a solid paper cone is responsible for the rest of the range. The speakers are built into a compact body made in a minimalist design with a round bass reflex port located in its rear part and covered with a removable protective grill with magnetic fastenings. The body is securely damped using internal cross braces. The amplifier module integrated into the right speaker operates in class D and provides 50 W of power per channel. From the active speaker amplifier, the signal is transmitted to the left (passive) speaker via the included three-meter speaker cable.
The model is equipped with a Bluetooth module that supports the aptX audio codec, which allows you to get sound quality close to CD. An interesting feature of the Triangle ELARA LN01A is the presence on board of an MM phono stage, thanks to which you can connect a full-fledged vinyl player equipped with a moving magnet pickup head to the speakers. If necessary, the phono input is “converted” to a regular line input using a slide switch on the rear panel of the speaker. There is also a 3.5 mm Aux input jack for portable audio equipment, two S/PDIF inputs (optical/coaxial) and a subwoofer output, with which you can organize a triphonic and enhance the bass section of the system. There is a universal encoder that allows you to adjust the volume level (when turned) and select the desired input (when pressed), and a pair of screw terminals are used to connect the left speaker.
The model is available in four colors - white, black, purple (“eggplant”) and dark blue, and the so-called “summer” limited edition Triangle ELARA LN01A acoustic systems (100 pairs each) were released in the last two colors.
The speaker is equipped with a remote control, with which you can adjust tones and volume, select sources and control playback via Bluetooth. According to Triangle, the speakers deliver smooth, detailed sound with a slight warm tone.
