The EP-133 K.O. II sampler can be programmed in free mode or quantized with swing. For perfect recordings, the device also features an instant time correction and erase function that allows you to correct incorrect timing.
The EP-133 K.O II has nine projects, each with a capacity of 80,000 notes. Each project contains four groups, each of which consists of 99 patterns. You can use them to mix and match patterns on the fly.
A pattern can have a variable group length (from 1 to 99 measures) and has 12 sample and MIDI tracks. So, you can assign any pad to one of the 16 MIDI channels, turning it into a MIDI sequencer. In addition, you can record and automate parameters in the sequence, there is an OB-4 loop mode with duration and slide.
The Teenage Engineering EP-133 K.O. II offers 12 vintage-style keys that have a modern sound, combining tactile sensations with pressure sensitivity (polyAT). There are also additional buttons, knobs, and an automatic multifunction slider.
In addition, the device has a large multi-segment color display in a retro style with beautiful symbols that provides instant feedback on tracks.
The Teenage Engineering EP-133 K.O. also offers a lot of input and output options. You get an orange on/off slider, a USB-C port for audio and data, minijack MIDI input/output, sync (8TH, 16TH NOTE OR SYNC24), stereo input and output.
