Product information
The Technics SC-C50E wireless speaker has a nice design and very high-quality finish, typical of premium models. The gracefully curved side panels of its body are almost completely covered with high-quality fabric, and in the center of the top panel, made of aluminum, there is an OLED display. The screen is surrounded by buttons for controlling the main functions of the system.
The Technics SC-C50E is equipped with seven speakers, each connected to its own Class D amplifier. All this makes the speaker powerful enough to fill medium-sized rooms, and the placement of the speakers on a curved panel provides a wide polar pattern. The Technics SC-C50E model has three tweeters and three woofers, configured in pairs according to a coaxial design, as well as a separate woofer with a diameter of 12 cm. To optimize the sound of the system, depending on the specific placement conditions, it uses proprietary DSP Space Tune. It has three fixed operating modes, which can be used if the speaker is installed in the corner of the room, against the wall or in free space. However, the Technics SC-C50E also provides an automatic calibration system (using a built-in microphone and a sequence of audio test signals), which will ensure accurate DSP operation in any non-standard situations.
The Technics SC-C50E is equipped with analog and optical inputs, USB for portable media and Ethernet for connecting to your home network. Wireless technologies in the column include dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Technics SC-C50E supports all modern streaming technologies DLNA Chromecast and AirPay2, as well as popular on-line music services. Thanks to a modern DAC, the speaker can reproduce audio in High Resolution formats.
To improve sound quality, the Technics SC-C50E uses dual power supplies for separate circuits, JENO (four separate processors) jitter reduction technology, and LAPC to reduce phase distortion. To control the operation of the speaker, you can use a proprietary mobile application, which will also allow you to combine two such speakers into a stereo pair.
