At the heart of the EAH-AZ100 is Technics’ proprietary 10mm Magnetic Fluid Driver. A fluid with magnetic particles is sandwiched between the rigid aluminium central dome and the flexible outer low-frequency suspension, replacing traditional mechanical dampers. This approach provides precise control of the voice coil movement, reduces friction and improves heat dissipation. The result is immediately audible: tight bass, neutral midrange and open highs without any artifacts - a sound that does not embellish, but reproduces.
Support for LDAC allows audio to be transmitted with a bit rate of up to 990 kbps and a sampling frequency of up to 96 kHz - almost three times higher than standard Bluetooth. Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification confirms that the EAH-AZ100 can handle streaming in full resolution. Dolby Atmos support with head tracking adds a spatial dimension - music and content get a real three-dimensional scene.
The Full Adaptive Digital Hybrid Noise Cancelling system analyzes the acoustic situation in real time and adjusts the noise reduction profile individually.
