The Sumiko Songbird High is the same character and musicality of the Songbird line, but in a high-output version that can be connected to a standard MM input.
That is, all the magic of MC delivery — without the obligatory separate MC phono equalizer. And for many systems, this is the perfect balance between convenience and a truly “adult” sound.
This cartridge immediately captivates with its midrange. Vocals sound open, emotional, with the right weight and volume. There is a feeling of a living person, and not just a well-recorded track.
