The Frankie is equipped with MM and MC phono preamps, switchable and configurable on the rear panel via a DIP switch, with 6 bands per channel. This is a rather rare option among integrated amplifiers, not only because of the price, but mainly because of the sound quality demonstrated. In addition to connecting a turntable, this integrated amplifier can be connected to 3 more analog sources (1 of them is balanced) and 2 digital sources (1 optical and 1 coaxial). The USB-A port is for charging purposes only. This amplifier can be controlled from a phone or tablet via an IOS or Android application, which is an alternative to the remote control. The review unit is equipped with a high-quality DAC, but does not have a streaming module.
