This is not just an updated version of its predecessor - in the MKII edition, Rotel engineers completely revised the key links of the path: improved components, updated the analog section and made changes to the digital part. The result is even greater transparency, detail and a sense of depth in every recording.

At the heart of the system is a pair of independent toroidal transformers, hand-made in Rotel's own production. One powers the analog part, the other - the digital, which allows for maximum isolation of sensitive links from mutual interference. Together with a separate power supply design and high-quality audiophile parts, this provides exceptional signal purity.

The TI 32-bit/384kHz DAC processes digital signals from all sources - from CD players to a computer via USB. Support for MQA and MQA Studio via USB makes the RC-1590 MKII an ideal choice for modern digital audio. Analog sources have not been forgotten either: balanced XLR, phono input for MM cartridge, RCA — everything is in place. There is also Bluetooth with aptX HD, subwoofer outputs, headphone amplifier and a full control system — RS-232, 12V trigger, Ethernet.
