Description
The Rotel RC-1572 MKII is a modern stereo preamplifier designed for those who want to get the most out of their audio system without overpaying for unnecessary features.
Product information
Its main mission is to act as a “control center” for all your audio sources, providing a clean, accurate and open signal for a power amplifier or active speakers.
In the second generation, Rotel seriously worked on the circuitry: improved power supply, reduced noise level, new audiophile-grade components were used. The heart of the digital part was a Texas Instruments 32-bit/384kHz DAC, which allows the RC-1572 MKII to confidently process modern high-quality audio formats.
On board - everything you need: analog RCA and balanced XLR inputs, phono equalizer for MM cartridges, digital inputs (coaxial, optical, USB), Bluetooth with aptX and AAC, as well as a full set of outputs - including subwoofer and headphone. Important: the USB input supports MQA and MQA Studio, so this preamplifier is ready for the highest level audio files.
The RC-1572 MKII retains Rotel's signature sound: it doesn't embellish or smooth out the sound — it simply conveys what's in the recording. At the same time, the sound is pleasant, balanced, and not harsh. It's perfect for both classical music or jazz, and modern electronics or rock.
This preamplifier is a great choice for building a mid-range or even high-end system. It can be paired with Rotel's own amplifiers (such as the RB-1552 MKII or RB-1582 MKII), as well as components from other brands.
