When it turns on - you feel that there is more energy. Thanks to class AB and a toroidal transformer, Rotel reveals a bass that is not just "audible", but has weight. The midrange is natural, more lively, with the same feeling as if someone turned down the volume so that you finally see the details that were previously lost. The top is tactful, not loud, but absolutely present, and leaves no doubt that there is something to take here - if necessary.
Everything in the DX-5 is thought out so that you can listen to anything and with any source: digital inputs (USB-PC, coaxial, optical), HDMI ARC (for TV, cinema), Bluetooth aptX HD - this is the case when even streaming or cinema sound with dignity. There's also an analog input for proven sources, and a subwoofer output if you want to add some bass. Headphones? There's also a large 6.35mm output so it's just you and the music in the evenings.
