Description

There are things where minimalism is not poverty, but a principle. The Reloop Turn 2 is built exactly like that: no unnecessary features, no extra inches of cabinet space, no compromise on what really matters. Belt drive, quiet DC motor, statically balanced straight tonearm with Ortofon OM10 included and slim MDF chassis with matte finish - all subordinated to one goal: to make the music sound as it was recorded, without unnecessary noise between the record and the ear. Turn 2 is for those who don't need USB, hitchhiking and backlighting. Only vinyl.

The heart of the Turn 2 is a precision belt drive from a low-vibration DC motor. The belt physically breaks direct contact between the motor and the disc, significantly reducing the transmission of mechanical noise into the sound path. The motor is so quiet that the player feels comfortable even in a sound-proofed studio room or living room with good acoustics.

The speed switch (33 1/3 and 45 rpm) is located on the bottom of the case - deliberately removed from the top panel so as not to disturb the laconic look.

The cast aluminum disc with a diameter of 300 mm with a chrome rim weighs 550 g - enough for stable, uniform rotation. The slim body made of solid MDF is covered with a matte varnish: no gloss, no fingerprints, no unnecessary details on the surface.

A statically balanced straight tonearm with an angled headshell and manual needle lift provides precise tracking. Connections are SME/GM standard, which allows easy cartridge swapping on different headshells. The set includes Ortofon OM10, already installed on the headshell. The player is ready to play immediately after installing the counterweight.

On the rear panel are gold-plated anti-corrosion RCA outputs (Phono) and a separate ground terminal to eliminate parasitic ground loops. All cables are negative, which simplifies replacement or upgrade in the future. There is no built-in phono equalizer - the player is designed to be connected to an amplifier with a phono input or a separate phono equalizer.
