There are turntables that just sit on the shelf. And there are those that make it clear from the first spin of the disc: vinyl is not nostalgia, it's a way to hear music differently. The Reloop RP-1000 MK2 is just that. A budget entry point without compromising on the key things: a metal body, a cast aluminum platter, a tonearm with a hydraulic lift and an Ortofon OM Black cartridge included. The turntable is equally suitable for those who are just discovering vinyl and for beginner DJs who need a solid foundation.
Unlike direct-drive turntables, the RP-1000 MK2 uses a belt drive — the DC motor is physically separated from the disc by a rubber belt. This approach effectively dampens mechanical vibrations and noise from the motor before they enter the sound path. The result is clean, quiet playback with a detonation and unevenness of less than 0.25% WRMS and a signal-to-noise ratio of more than 50 dB (DIN-B).
Two speeds are supported: 33 1/3 and 45 rpm. An electronic brake stops the disc in less than 1 second, and the acceleration time is similar. The pitch fader allows you to adjust the speed in the range of ±10% — enough for basic mixing and tempo work.
The 332 mm diameter disc is made of die-cast aluminum — it provides stable, uniform rotation without beating. The statically balanced S-shaped tonearm with hydraulic lift and anti-skating mechanism (range 0–7 g) connects cartridges according to the SME standard. The effective length of the tonearm is 230.5 mm, the projection is 16 mm, and the tracking error angle is less than 3°. The permissible cartridge weight is 3.5–8.5 g (with headshell – 13–18 g).
The RP-1000 MK2 comes with an Ortofon OM Black cartridge already installed on the headshell. The Ortofon OM Black is a proven Danish-made cartridge with an elliptical stylus that provides detailed and balanced playback. The player is ready to work literally out of the box: insert a disc, connect it and you can listen.
The new top panel in a deep black color is made of metal; the start/stop and speed selection buttons are also metal, with a clear tactile response. The built-in LED stylus light extends at the touch of a button, making it convenient for working in low light. Shock-absorbing feet isolate the case from external vibrations. A phono output with a gold-plated connector ensures signal quality is maintained. A dust cover is available as an optional accessory.
