The QED SIGNATURE Revelation speaker cable delivers unprecedented sound quality at a price point that is affordable for all Hi-Fi and home theater enthusiasts. It utilizes Genesis Silver Spiral and X-Tube cable technologies and combines them in a new miniature format to bring the philosophy of high-quality cables to the mid-range Hi-Fi market and Genesis Silver Spiral geometry, which has the combined effect of reducing the overall impedance of the cable below what would be expected from a traditional speaker cable with the same cross-sectional area.
The QED Revelation speaker cable utilizes AirCoreTM technology to eliminate the skin effect by binding multiple individually insulated smaller conductors together to create a larger CSA.
When these conductors are arranged around a hollow polyethylene center core, the cable's inherent inductance can be reduced by about half of its design value.
Thanks to the use of ten central conductors of 99.999% oxygen-free copper with 19/0.1 mm silver plating and excellent dielectric materials such as polyethylene and transparent Teflon insulation, the dissipation factor is kept extremely low, which is a hallmark of a good sounding speaker cable.
