The table of the new Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 is an MDF panel. The manufacturer claims that when using this material, resonances harmful to sound have a negligible effect. Reliable vibration isolation from the installation surface is provided by height-adjustable supports. The dimensions of the Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 turntable are 415 x 95 x 330 mm, and the weight is 6 kg.
The turntable of the Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 is made of particularly strong aluminum and is damped using TPE, which also eliminates resonances. The disk moves in a beeline manner using a sub-disk from a silent motor with electronic speed control. The novelty supports speeds of 33 1/3, 45 rpm.
The Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 player is equipped with a time-tested proprietary tonearm with a length of 8.6 inches, made entirely of carbon. The tonearm tube is a single unit with the shell, which, according to Pro-Ject Audio Systems, is the best solution for obtaining maximum performance of the tonearm. Sapphire bearings are responsible for the accuracy of tracking the groove of the record, and, of course, the tonearm allows all the necessary adjustments for use with different cartridge heads. The Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 comes with a factory-installed Pro-Ject Pick it MM EVO moving magnet cartridge.
The new Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 is equipped with gold-plated RCA connectors and includes a high-quality Pro-Ject Connect it E cable for connecting the player to a phono stage. The player also comes with a dust cover and a felt mat for the turntable.
The manufacturer offers the new Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 in a variety of design options - matte finishes include white, black, gold-yellow, steel, blue, fir-green and wine-red. The player is also available in a glossy design in white, red and black. The range is completed by a luxurious natural walnut finish.
