Not every system needs twelve outlets and a massive chassis — but that's no reason to put up with dirty power or weak hardware protection. The PowerGrip YG-2 solves this dilemma: the same power as the top-of-the-line YG-1, packed into a case that's only 80mm high and 185mm deep, which will easily fit into any rack.
Six YG-2 sockets are divided into three groups. General Filter with resonance damper is designed for devices with digital power supplies - players, tuners, network sources. Two groups of High Current Hi-Fi Filter are designed for classic linear power supplies, including powerful amplifiers - the console passes current up to 16A and allows you to connect two power amplifiers simultaneously.
YG-2 protects the system at three levels: filters absorb interference and minor voltage surges, varistors extinguish strong surges in the network, and a special circuit completely de-energizes the console if the voltage goes beyond safe limits. Protection of coaxial lines is also provided - a vulnerable point that is easy to miss. The self-diagnostic system will instantly de-energize the connected equipment in the event of a failure, and the indicators will report the cause.
When connected, the YG-2 shows the mains voltage, and each group of sockets is switched on sequentially, with a pleasant click of the relay - no voltage surges at the start of the system. The touch display on the front panel provides access to the settings menu: switch-on delays, screen brightness, selected scenarios for the operation of socket groups. If necessary, the console integrates into Crestron, AMX, RTI and other automation systems.
