The Terylene dome tweeter is structurally composed of curved microshapes that broaden response and reduce resonance. Its powerful ceramic drive design also reduces system resonance and widens the low end of the frequency response for better dispersion in the critical mid-range, while also delivering crisp, detailed high-frequency response for realistic reproduction of vocals and instruments. Capable of delivering frequencies up to 40 kHz, the Signature S35e's tweeter is certified to the latest Hi-Res Audio standards to support the latest high-resolution audio file formats, so you can feel right in the studio or concert hall.
Mica-reinforced polypropylene cones with butyl rubber surrounds, quad-layer voice coils, massive ceramic drive structures and heat-resistant Conex fiber spiders are combined to create exceptionally high-efficiency drivers for clean, transparent bass, better linearity, less distortion and greater durability.
Power Port® is a Polk Audio patented design that smoothly moves airflow from the speaker's bass reflex port to the listening area.
