Description
Pioneer CDJ-3000 Black is the long-awaited update of the flagship CDJ line with many improvements and innovations. This unit is equipped with an MPU unit with powerful processing capabilities to make the system run faster and new features smoothly. It has two chips inside that are responsible for some of the more CPU-intensive activities like track preview (even during playback), bit switching, key sync/conflict, faster loading and more.

Modernized sound design
Internal audio processing has been upgraded to 96kHz/32bit and can be used with all audio formats. The updated technology also includes a new Key Shift function, variable speed playback and overall tempo control.
Large 9-inch touch screen
The larger screen makes it easier to browse the library and move music while performing, so this new 9-inch high-resolution touchscreen will make interacting with the interface much easier.
Updated controls
Playlist and Search buttons - now located above the screen for quick access to playlists and convenient viewing of your library;
More quick access labels - now there are 8 hot cue buttons under the display;
Beat Jump buttons - jump forward or backward on a track with beat periods of 1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64;
The Advanced Auto Beat Loop button is an advanced control of the NXS2's 4-Beat Loop, while the 8-Beat Loop doubles your looping capabilities.
Compatibility
Regardless of what you prefer to use as a host, you're sure to find an option that works for you. You can connect your laptop and play your rekordbox library directly, play from a USB stick/SD card, or even connect your iPhone (if you're using the latest version of rekordbox) via a USB cable and mix right from your phone. This model also serves as a rekordbox hardware unlock device, so you can use its software in Performance mode (even if you have a free rekordbox 6.0 subscription).
Major workflow updates
A number of new software features have been added to the Pioneer CDJ-3000 Black. Some of the more important ones include the ability to quickly listen to your tracks, whether it's the one you're currently playing or others from your playlist, as well as powerful key synchronization capabilities.
Touch Preview
Now you can listen to any part of your track by touching the waveform where you want to listen. If you connect multiple of these players to the DJM-V10 or DJM-900NXS2 mixers, you can also use Pro DJ Link to preview tracks on the opposite player.
Touch Cue
Trying to listen to another part of the track you're currently playing? Touch Cue lets you do this on the fly, which is especially handy if you're thinking about how to mix and want to hear a breakdown or an ending. All you have to do is touch the waveform as well.
