The HDJ-CUE1 is powered by 40mm dynamic drivers with the same proprietary sound tuning as the top-of-the-line HDJ-X5. This means a clearly defined bass and kick drum that you can physically feel, not just hear – crucial when you need to accurately calculate the timing of the drums in a mix. The mids and highs remain transparent even at high volumes, so the details of the track won’t get lost in the noise of the dance floor.
DJ headphones live a tough life: they are thrown into a bag, twisted, pulled by the cable every day. The HDJ-CUE1 has undergone internal durability tests for all moving parts, and reinforced metal sliders in an arc add reliability where plastic counterparts usually don’t withstand even a few months of active use.
The cups rotate a full 90 degrees – a classic feature of professional DJ headphones, allowing you to listen to the track with one ear, while the other remains open to the audience. The flexible soft headband adapts to the shape of your head, so the headphones are equally comfortable during a long set or when simply hanging around your neck between tracks.
The cable is detachable, 1.2 m long, with a spiral design and a bayonet connection that protects against accidental disconnection right in the middle of a mix. The lightweight, foldable design makes the HDJ-CUE1 convenient for transportation - put it in your bag next to your laptop or controller and forget about their presence until you need them again. And if you want to stand out - the cable and ear pads can be replaced with bright colored options from the separate HC-CP08 accessory kit.
