At the heart of the mixer is a non-contact Magvel crossfader, precise, smooth and extremely durable - designed for approximately 10 million movements. The fader has two metal shafts for added stability. This gives confidence during complex scratching techniques and long daily work.
Each channel has its own proprietary Sound Color FX filter - just turn the knob on the channel to apply the effect, and twist the parameter to change the texture, resonance and tension of the sound. This is a simple but powerful tool for creative moments in the mix without the need for a separate FX block.
The top of the mixer offers three-band isolators that allow you to completely remove the selected frequency range by turning the knob all the way down - useful for creative mixing and clean transitions between tracks.
Connection to a PC/Mac is via a single USB cable that supports both audio input and output - this allows you to record sets directly to your computer's hard drive. The mixer is compatible with rekordbox for CDJ performances, as well as with analog turntables for scratching and mixing digital files using a control vinyl.
The rear panel offers separate channels with RCA line and phono inputs, premium balanced XLR outputs, and 3-way isolators on each channel. There are two simultaneous headphone outputs - 1/4" and 1/8".
