The DDJ-GRV6 features large jog wheels that are perfect for scratching, 8 Performance Pads that are located above the jog wheels – just like on the flagship CDJ-3000 multi-player – and Beat FX from the DJM-A9 in the mixer section.

All of this means you can play with a club-like feel and play dynamically, combining expressive scratching with pad and effect techniques that are perfect for club sets.
The new smart rotary selector on the DDJ-GRV6 allows you to tilt it up/down and left/right, as well as perform the usual rotation and pressing operations when using rekordbox for Mac/Windows version 7. Tilting left/right provides intuitive navigation through the browser and track list, while tilting up/down provides quick navigation through playlists and collections, so you can quickly find the track you want, no matter the size of your music library.
The DDJ-GRV6 is compatible with Serato DJ Pro, which includes Stems FX. Express yourself musically by applying effects such as Roll, Trans, Echo Out and Delay to individual Stems of a track – drums, bass, vocals or melody. Use the included DDJ-GRV6 overlay sheet to change the button labels to Stems FX for ease of use.
You can use the DDJ-GRV6 not only with rekordbox for Mac/Windows, but also with rekordbox for iOS/Android. With the ability to play via your mobile device, you have the freedom to DJ in your own style and in a variety of settings.
Although it includes a host of additional features, the matte black finish and ergonomic design mean that you can easily navigate the DDJ-GRV6. Despite its variety of functions, the minimalist display and indicators offer intuitive access to the functions you need. And the Groove Circuit, one of the unit’s key features, is neatly positioned above the Performance Pads with a step up between them, ensuring you don’t accidentally touch the jog wheel when using it. This sleek design allows you to get creative with performances that can be as simple or complex as you like.
