The Concorde ELITE is a premium moving magnet cartridge based on the Ortofon Concorde MKII series. Thanks to numerous component upgrades, ELITE achieves a new level of sound quality previously unheard of in DJ cartridges.
Features:
Concorde Elite features a new custom-molded stylus body with real gold plating, adding luxury to Concorde's famous design. The Nude Elliptical diamond stylus, commonly used in hi-fi cartridges, delivers such powerful and detailed sound that conveys an incredible level of live performance. The addition of a bare elliptical diamond provides less moving mass, guaranteeing improved and detailed sound quality. The thin profile of the Nude Elliptical Diamond allows you to more precisely follow the oscillations of the grooves, highlight more complex details and track even the highest frequency information.
Note. The Nude Elliptical Stylus is designed for listening, not heavy back pressure and scratching.
Cantilever and coil system
The console must provide the perfect compromise between light weight and high strength, which requires great ingenuity in design, as well as in the choice of materials. The properties of the rigid aluminum-magnesium cantilever with a thickness of 750 µm, specially designed for Concorde ELITE, ensure that the stylus picks up the vibrations of the groove with a stable and precise tracing characteristic and ensures a perfect contact between the stylus and the armature. The armature features a specially designed coil system that transmits the movements of the diamond to ensure optimized performance. The unique coil system provides ELITE with powerful, rich sound of high quality and high power.
Rubber suspension
A new rubber suspension has been developed to ensure excellent tracking performance. The new formula has been developed specifically for Concorde ELITE to achieve the desired characteristics for exceptional cartridge performance. Richer, fuller sound conveys music in the most realistic way, paying special attention to suppression of excess brightness.
